Stop At: Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures, 525 Halvorson Rd, Fairbanks, AK 99709, USA

After you arrive at Chena Lakes you will check in with your fishing guide at our ice fishing cabins. Following a short safety briefing you will be fully set up with gear, bait and instructions to be successful. You will be provided your own fishing- hole, rod, bait, and seat. Available heated shelters and cabins will keep you warm as well as hot water for drinks (hot cocoa, coffee, and tea). Your fishing guide will continue to provide tips and tricks to improve your success, and provide instructions on several fishing techniques respective the course of the day's fish activity. Underwater cameras, other specialized equipment, and spike locations will improve your success rate. The opportunity to learn to clean your fish, or help set up ice fishing holes. A cook-out of your catch will conclude the tour.

This was our first attempt at ice fishing, and we had a great time. Our guide Tyson was very friendly and took good care of us. It was cold outside but the hut was warm. Tyson made us hot drinks, and even cooked up the fish we caught. Delicious! It was a great experience and a highlight of our Alaska trip. Highly recommended! Thank you Tyson!

We had a lot of fun, caught fish. Tyson cooked it for us, it tasted amazing. Time went by real fast. Would do it again. Warm shack and hot drinks were a plus.

It’s been OVER ONE MONTH since our Ice Fishing Tour in Fairbanks was cancelled last minute without any notice (We had to wait in front of our hotel lobby for more than an hour but no one came to pick us up) . We, as overseas tourists, asked for the $258 refund from you and you said you’d give it back to us, but now we still haven’t received it yet. We’ve been trying to contact you by calling and sending e-mail to you to remind you of it many times, but no progress at all. If you guys are overseas tourists, especially living far away from Alaska like us, PLEASE DO NOT TRY and waste your valuable on this!!

Experienced the QUICK & EASY ice fishing tour Jan 2022. It was cold -5 F but the cabin stayed toasty warm, esp if you were seated next to the wood burning stove like I was. Had to switch seats after awhile, I got too warm. Come dressed for the cold, but be prepared to layer jackets off as the stove starts to burn hot. Tyson, our guide, was awesome, very friendly, explained everything very professionally and kept us warm & baited up as needed. You can really tell he enjoys what he does for a living, what a nice surprise! Our group of 4 felt 3 hours was ample time to experience something we've never tried before, we're glad we tried it! If we ever do it again we'd bring beer lol! But hey do offer free hot beverages as you fish. I played music from my iPhone after awhile because the fish seemed to be napping after the 2nd hour. My poor husband was the only one of 6 people who didn't catch a fish that day. I caught 3, lucky lucky lucky!

Tyson was amazing! We did the ice fishing with him and we had the best experience!! We caught our first fish, so we will never forget this special experience! At the end he cooked the fish for us and it was so delicious! We had so much fun and we can highly recommend booking the tour with him!

Tyson was awesome! We did the “Aurora Ice” Ice fishing and dinner tour. We had an amazing time! Caught plenty of king salmon! Although it was too cloudy to see the Aurora, the experience and the exceptionally prepared fish dinner made up for it. Next time we’re in Alaska we will definitely be doing this again! Tyson was a great guide! He was super helpful and friendly and my husband and I really enjoyed chatting with and learning ice fishing techniques from him. We caught lots of fish, ate a yummy dinner, and saw the northern lights. Tyson even helped us get the settings right on our phones to take pictures of the northern lights and took pictures of us. When we went it was -40 degrees so I would advise to dress very warmly! The cabin is heated but it still gets extremely cold when you go outside. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Fairbanks!

Amazing experience, we were a family group of five adults and one five-year-old, our Tyson was patient, accommodating, and delightful. Lovely to sip hot chocolate as we were fishing, the cooked fish was tasty, too.

Tyson we had a great time the 26 December 2021. There we caught about 10 fish we cook there. If your are coming to Alaska you can do this event is really fun. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. They are great guys.

Our tour guide Tyson was great we caught over 10 fish and we had a great dinner lake to plate was the theme that night! Tyson was the chef as well plus he was able to shuttle us back to the hotel in the middle of a weather advisory fluke winter snowstorm safely. Would recommend to anyone looking to book this type of activity! The tour was 9pm-2am
